Taiwan is a small island about 36000 square kilometers, and almost 23 million people live on it.However there are at least 5 news channel broadcasting 24hr a day, and gossip newspapers and magazines. In Taiwan, news managers and advertisement sponsors surely believe in high watching ratio. Higher watching ratio means more people watching the news, and so are the advertisements. To make higher income, news managers and reporters have to catch people`s intresting. However, they thought people like gossip according to the watching ratio reports.
They said everyone likes gossip, but I don't, my friends don't, either. So, who is the everyone? OK, we like RIGHT gossip on RIGHT person, like celebrity, but not professional sports hero.
